This is the place where you can and will discover your new favourite record. Recordstories.nl is a blog, graphical display and creators platform, from one music lover to many.
The goal of the author, Tjalling Veldhuis, is to take you on a trip inside the record to discover it without the use of your ears. In this way you will get to know the records personality after which you can listen to the record freely.
The records displayed have been picked from the personal collection of the author. These range from old to new and from really popular to completely forgotten.
The articles will be build up out of 3 pieces. The first piece is a description of the vibe and listening environment of the record, how does the record feel, where are you located. Like in books, it is the personality building of the record itself.
The second part will go into the why’s. Why is the record sounding like this, did something happen with the singer? Is this just a ordinary song or is there a very wild story behind it.
The third part will be an extension of the first part, where the vibe will be described by three pictures, which represent the record, the “lead” song and the background story.
